Pretty little Christmas ornaments

Still playing around with my camera. Took these shots at an antiques shop we frequent out here in the suburbs. I've had such great luck with furniture at this place and I swing by there all the time to see what they've got...

And since I love vintage Christmas ornaments and decorations, I snapped these pics.

I'm a sucker for Christmas music (old stuff like Burl Ives) and Mike can't stand it prior to Thanksgiving. 

But, ho ho ho, here it comes... The Toyota Highlander is rocking out now.

In case you can't tell, I'm just messing around with my camera a little here. I would never call myself a photography person. The hassle of carrying it and dealing with it constantly and then editing the pictures is something I just don't truly enjoy. I really lucked into the iphone camera. Thank you, Apple.

But... I did manage to change a couple of settings that I think will help make my pictures a little less dark. And that was one of my major annoyances with using the thing. I would take the exact same picture as the person next to me and mine would be dark and golden looking. Theirs would be clear and light-filled and beautiful. I wanted to throw the camera out the window.

A blueberry scone for breakfast... what a life these kids have :-)
