A Little Progress
A quick update...
It's not much, but I'm one centimeter dilated. Unfortunately, it really doesn't mean anything. We wish this was some indication of how long it will be before our baby is here, but, alas, some women can be one centimeter dilated and give birth within days and others day be dilated 5 centimeters and sit like that for weeks. One of the most frustrating things about this entire process is that it is entirely individual. There's really no way to know how long it will be before labor begins.
The doctor told us yesterday that the goal is to keep demonstrating progress each week so, hopefully, next week we'll see a few more centimeters and who knows... someday soon she'll be here!!
