Mike picked out a cute little pair of Robeez for Anna for Christmas and she's gotten a ton of compliments on them. For those of you who aren't familiar, Robeez are very "in" right now. They're adorable little soft soled shoes that are great for babies who aren't walking yet. (I'd totally recommend them as a baby shower gift.)
The best compliment came last week though. I took Anna to the library and we ran into a neighbor who had her three-year-old and one-year-old daughters with her. Enid, the three-year-old, immediately came up to Anna and said, "hello, baby!" and gave her a pat on the cheek. She's got a sister the same age and has clearly practiced being gentle around babies. However, a few minutes later she returned and stood right next to us. She took a good long look at the shoes, then leaned into Anna and said softly... "Your shoes are way cool, baby."

They also make a fantastic toy/thing to chew on. Many a diaper changing scream has been swiftly stifled by handing Anna one of her Robeez.
Anna has great taste. I was going to buy her Tim Gunn's Guide to Style for her birthday, but nevermind!
I just bought two new pairs today since the ones I had for Lila were so small, I was afraid I would be accused of foot binding.
Love, love, love these shoes. Hate the price though. Trade offs are hell.
I love this story! The shoes are cool too...Ryder used to have some.
