As I mentioned earlier, Mike's sisters, Pam and Meagan, came to visit last weekend. It was wonderful having them here. Such sweet girls, always willing to help out and add some fun to our crazy lives. The weather was so beautiful that we decided to head out to the Morton Arboretum. Anna and I had taken a class there the week prior and were extremely impressed.
The Morton Arboretum has got to be one of the most beautiful places in Illinois. Hundreds of acres of nature, wide open skies, and a powerful reminder that God really knew what he was doing when he created our dear earth. Seriously, sometimes I'm struck by how unbelievable it is that we're allowed to live on this earth, and how unbelievable it is that we've trashed it so badly. But... that's another post.
The Children's Garden is filled with small areas for kids to climb and explore. Little gnomes are hidden throughout the park, each holding a fun fact about a tree or flower. There are tree houses to climb, ponds to cross, little gardens to run through, you can't help but smile when you step inside.
Anna loved it. Abe, well, Abe just slept. Turns out the key to getting him to sleep is taking him to a tourist attraction. It was a blast!

Sounds like a great weekend! Also that top or dress that Anna is wearing is way too cute. I'd wear it!
LOVE the kimono style dress. Can we get a matching one for Georgia and take pictures of the girls looking all matchy? : )
Wow! Great photos! I particularly like the third one down. Sounds like you all had a lot of fun. I'd love to visit this place. Anna looks so cute in all of them. :)
