The garden is growing like gangbusters. Six tomato plants, six carrot plants (wish I'd done a ton more of these), two bell pepper plants (still a way to go on those), a broccoli plant doing something or other, beans and peas climbing up their little cages, and basil blooming so much I'm having to trim it back. I'm feeling rather proud of our little garden.
Plus, I threw some zucchini and squash seeds into a pile of dirt near the garden and wouldn't you know they're also sprouting. Now I've got a little secret garden with six or seven more plants.
Now if the fruits of my labor would just materialize... Mama is ready for a salad.
