There are times when you experience things alongside others in the same stage of life. The universality of moments is so strong that you know it is core to the human experience. We all go through it, hardship, fear, love, sorrow. I love that I can bond with my fellow sisters and brothers in these shared experiences...
But then again... then again, there are times when you are quite certain that no one else you know is receiving a text message like this from her husband.

p.s. I can't help but feel a little sad for those deer reading that text! Just think, at that moment, they had no idea what was coming!
So did he think he was gaining sympathy with the 'cold' reference? Hmmmm...me thinks he is enjoying every minute and waiting for the day he can take Abe with him!
Nope, no deer, and the temps were in the teens with a 15-20 mph wind. I was out for over 5 hours in that cold.
