Anna got a head start on her birthday with a visit from grandma, papa, aunt Meagan and aunt Pam. She was so excited about their visit, I heard her tell everyone she met this week that grandma and papa were coming for her birthday!
And today we surprised her with a trip to build a bear. Don't ask me how we managed to avoid that place for six years, but we did. Anna launched a campaign to take a trip there in the last few months. and now Anna's newest companion is rainbow cuddly bear Roth. Rolls off the tongue, doesn't it?
My six year old. Six. I have a hard time even saying that. Six.
This morning we made a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. Anna had a vision for how she wanted to decorate it so I helped her with the writing but really left the rest to her. I love watching her focus in on a project. It was one of the best parts of her day. Well, that and her dinner at chuck e. cheese. (Man, that place it nuts.)
Our beautiful girl had a fantastic day and we did too. Her actual birthday is Tuesday so the festivities will continue then. But for now she is sleeping soundly after an awesome day.

Wow! I can't believe we're at 6 either! Happy Birthday! Love the cake!
Happy Birthday to Anna!! It is crazy she's 6, but you know what else I think is crazy?! That your blog "Out Little Baby Blog" is titled for baby Anna! It definitely doesn't seem like I've been reading your blog for SIX years!
P.S. I think I'm in love with Anna's sweater in the rainbow cuddly bear Roth pic :)
Happy Birthday Anna! Can't believe she is 6!!
