Games people play

This is one of those "for the record" posts so I don't forget this funny stuff.

Abe has a series of games that he has me play with him. And they are sort of realistic, but then NOT AT ALL realistic. Let me explain...

1)  Let's pretend I'm a puppy and you just found me in a box. Usually I get the request to play this game while I'm going to the bathroom. He sits outside the door in a huddle. When I open the door, I have to say, "oh my gosh, it's a puppy in a box!"

2) Let's pretend it's your birthday but you don't remember. This takes place a million times a day. Then it's a SURPRISE because he has thrown me a party and we need to eat a cake he has baked for us.

3) Let's pretend I'm a teacher and I need to teach you about cars and trucks and traffic. He tells me about what a car is and then he walks around pointing to cars and trucks and saying, "this is about transportation."

There ya go. Games by Abe.

I think this is what I'd be worst at as a parent. I'm not creative enough or enough of an actress to "play pretend". I'm also not great at "pretending" I enjoy it :) ! I'm glad Abe seems to have a more creative mind than I!!
