Scenes from a seventh birthday party

Multiple bouncy structures. A fabulous cake. Fun friends.

Is there a better way to celebrate turning seven??

Our wonderful church friend hit it out of the park with a "book" cake. If you know anna, it will come as no surprise that she wanted her cake to be about books. That child loves books more than anything else and it's a passion we are happy to indulge.

Everyone had a blast and we were happy to see that both anna and Abe tried doing a few things they had previously been too scared to try (rock climbing wzll, tall bouncy slides). The fact that they tried was huge, regardless of whether it amounted to much.

And, yes, mike and I joined in on the bouncy fun a few times. Can you blame us?

Our beautiful girl has grown in so many ways over the past year. We feel like we are just beginning an amazing transition. Perhaps starting to get a glimpse of who this girl might become and what her great passions and gifts are. Children are full of such potential and we are so lucky to be able to help them unlock it.

Happy birthday, sweet girl. We love you more than you will ever know.

So impressed how quickly you got this up on the blog! But I must implore you to add more pics of you and Mike jumping. You and the kids will love seeing those many, many decades from now when you're old and gray!

Great party!
