The Clicker

The books tell you that babies love watching their parents and will become immediately interested in whatever they're doing. These days, Mike and I spend a lot of time on our blackberries, phones, and the laptop. We're not techies by any means, but between work and then more working-at-home, Anna has developed a fascination with our little electronic friends. She LOVES all these gadgets, so much so that we actually decided to present her with a new toy... an old TV remote control (batteries removed).

We had an extra one (don't tell comcast) and she's always trying to grab the remote from our hands, so we figured why not? The funny thing is that we don't let her watch TV, so I don't think she really understands that it's connected to that crazy talking box in the middle of the living room. But, she knows it's in our hands and that's what she wants.

I think she knows good and well what that remote does. It's instinctive for a Roth to know how to work a TV.

I agree about the Roth instincts, but hopefully she will not be sleeping in front of the TV on the floor like Grandpa. Miss you guys. Give Anna kisses from Aunt Pam.
