We cannot imagine a more joyous year than this one. Our little pumpkin has changed and grown so much. We marvel at how she is learning new things each day. Life with Anna has been such a gift, one that we could never have imagined being so incredible. The older she gets, the more fun we have. Each day brings a new revelation - she tasted something new today, she pointed to a dog, she scrunched her face in an interesting way. It is true that a child's life is one of wonder and so are ours for being alongside her.
Our life is so filled with activity and life and love. Love, love, love. Anna is our greatest gift. Can you believe one year ago we were given this little baby?

Oh my goodness, she is so big now!! I can't believe how much she has grown since Christmas. I can't wait to come to Chicago next week and spend time with her:-)

Happy birthday Anna! You get more and more beautiful every day! I sure wish I could be in Chicago for your big day! Tell your mom and dad that they've done a wonderful job this first year! Oh and tell them to bring you down to Austin for a visit!
