Anna Says the Darndest things...
This morning Anna came into my bedroom and stood by me, begging me to wake up. It's our daily ritual. Mike gets Anna out of bed and gives her cheerios and then a few minutes later she runs into our bedroom, yelling "wake up, mama, wake up!" This morning she was fiddling with the random items on my nightstand when she pointed to the glass of water I keep there and said very seriously, "your water broke in the middle of the night and the doctor fixed it."
Um, yeah... the doctor fixed that water.
Guess I've been talking a lot about birth stories lately.
I told her, yes, and the night my water broke was the night that she was born.
"Yeah," said Anna. "And then my milk broke."
Of course it did, sweetie. Of course it did.

Joe split a CD in half in his work bag -- (a thrilling legal thing about model purchase agreements) - and Georgia just sat at breakfast this morning saying over and over again, "Daddy broke it. Daddy broke the CD. Daddy broke it." Like she was telling on him, or admonishing him or something. Love this stuff.

I too am just seeing your blog for the first time! And I had no idea you were pregnant with #2! David is slow to relay info to me sometimes! haha...
Congratulations! When are you due? Our boys are 20 months apart, so I can attest to the...um...adventure you are about to embark on. It is all well worth it of course.
