Nada, Nunca, Nothing...

Just for the curious, I thought I'd update you on my baby-birthing progress... That would be a big fat nothing. Oy. I think this is more of a psychological battle than anything else. Anna was born eight days early and so now I'm programmed to think that babies arrive eight days early. Alas, my due date is tomorrow and this little one has yet to make an appearance.

I'm going to walk the neighborhood as much as possible in hopes that it triggers something. Think positive welcoming thoughts today, maybe he/she will come out to meet us soon.

In the meantime, I'm going to look forward to the delicious birthday cake that Mike and Anna are planning to make for me tonight and keep in mind that all babies come when they're ready...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! The little one is being respectful perhaps in letting you have your day.

I can see how Anna being 8 days early would make you think that all babies come 8 days early.

Since Georgia was 8 days late, I will probably freak if this one shows up before "schedule."

Just remember that the baby has no idea what the due date is - it's really a ballpark guess that can be very wrong one direction or the other. So, it's not really late or early in that sense I guess.

(Please remind me of all of these lovely words of wisdom come August, when I am about ready to burst.) ha!

Hang in there. This is nature's way of making sure you REALLY want this child. LOL

Have a great birthday!

Like I said, it may be Happy Birthday/birth day, literally. I agree with Kate, the baby is just very considerate! Enjoy the cake and I want to see some pictures!
