Her Father's Influence?

Anna,

Yesterday you really surprised us by creating your very own matching game.

Only a child of Mike Roth would sequester herself in a corner, grab some leftover green tissue paper and cut out square "pieces." Then you drew two princess pieces and two pirate pieces and proceeded to instruct me in the basics of Memory.

We all took turns playing at the dinner table last night and you told us that if we wanted it to be a longer game, we'd need to just keep playing it over again.... Gotcha.

You were upset with me when I made you hurry up and finish the last princess piece. You did not feel it was your best work because I was rushing you.

I'm sorry. Your next game will surely be a masterpiece.

Love,
Mama
