After departing the princess area, we were on a total high. We'd seen Cinderella and didn't even have to wait for it. And the kids were jazzed and getting into the spirit of things.
Next up was the Winnie the Pooh area. Now this may seem like something for toddlers, but it's so darn cute and the kids have always liked that little stuffed bear so we hopped into line. The waiting area has Pooh's "house" to walk through while you wait. This is when I think I became so acutely aware of the brilliance of Disney park designers. You don't even feel like you're waiting. They've filled the lines with little activities and pictures and songs.
We moved right through the area and hopped aboard the ride. None of my ride pictures turned out. The ol' iPhone just doesn't work well while moving around.
We lined up to meet Winnie and Tiger afterwards. Abe would have nothing to do with it. He did not want a huge furry creature/person near him. Anna, however, thought it was fun and asked the characters to sign her autograph book.
We headed to the Belle's Enchanted area after Winnie. Gaston was giving autographs and letting folks take pictures. Oh how funny this guy was! He would take a little three year old boy teach him how to make a "real" muscle and then he'd turn to some grown women and ask, "what do you love most about me?" A total ham. Hilarious. Anna didn't quite get all the jokes, but he was really cute with her and gave her a big hug.
The Be Our Guest restaurant already had a long line, but I really pushed for us to stand in line anyway because I had heard such good things about the place and we weren't able to get reservations for the dinner time extravaganza. Well, it was 45 minutes or so and that definitely tested the kids' patience.
It was fun inside though and we had a great lunch. Every room is set up like the beast's castle. You walk into a hallway of armored knights and then you get seated in either the ballroom or the dining room or some room that has a bunch of portraits all ripped up by the angry beast. It was cool.

| The long wait... |
We headed off for more rides and then the monorail to Epcot that afternoon. Despite all our talk about going home to rest, we were running on adrenaline and just pushed on. It worked the first day, not so much the second day. But I'll continue that in another post.
