Ten things about Abe- Cellular obsession. Why are kids so fascinated by electronics? Abe will lunge out of my arms towards my cell phone, he'll twist his body around on the quilt to grab the phone laying on the ground. Remotes? he's obsessed.
- Where's the grub? After Abe first wakes up in the morning and I've put him in his high chair, he will play quietly as we get everyone's breakfast ready. But the second he sees us pull down his box of oatmeal, he will squawk so loudly I can hear it on every level of the house, then he'll rock and kick his legs until we finally bring his food over to the table. It's a good thing he's strapped in or he'd probably fall out.
- Tasty socks. Abe's socks are a constant source of fascination. He pulls them off so quickly that I sometimes I don't even bother to put them on. In fact, they've started stretching out because he'll grab them, pull them up to his mouth and start chewing on them and his little feet will still be in there, the sock having stretched to three times its original length.
- Mamamamama. His new favorite sound. And I admit that I love it so much. He doesn't know he's saying mama, but I like to pretend that he does.
- Eating paper. If there is a piece of paper within a five foot radius of Abe, he will twist himself around and find a way to grab it, shake the life out of it and then stuff it in his mouth. I have to be super careful about leaving catalogs around. Several times I've found him sucking on a magazine or a catalog that I swear he wasn't close to a few minutes ago.

He looks like such a big boy now! I can't believe how much he's changed in just a couple weeks.
oh my gosh that 1st picture just freaked me out and made me do a double take b/c he looks so much older in it for some reason - i think b/c the crop of his legs makes it look like he is just standing there!
