Our weather held up nicely (brisk, but not freezing) so the kids headed out this afternoon for some marathon trick or treating. At least that's what it feels like when you've been out for over an hour and only made it around the block.
Raggedy Ann made her second debut today. Anna's preschool program last week included a costume parade and several cute songs. Ask her to sing them for you. She's super proud of herself.
Abe transformed into a mailman. We've been talking about this for so long that I think he would have exploded if he had had to wait any longer. Mike and I promised that he could ride in his own mail truck. And, well, he's been asking about it every single day.
Special delivery!!
Anna and Abe had a blast, running up to each door and then standing there like statutes. It seems like we had to remind them to ring the doorbell at nearly every home. Stage fright, I guess.

excellent costumes.
supremely prompt blogging.
high marks all around, my friend.
and I think your kids are ready for the big leagues of trick or treating: a return trip to LS.
Bonus: it's so crowded, no doorbell ringing is required!
Wow! I'm loving their costumes! That mailman costume is genius - so incredibly cute. And Anna looks super adorable. Glad they had fun :)
I ditto all of the above!! Love the mail truck, too!
Absolutely adorable (even though I'm bias b/c they're my niece and nephew). Glad everyone had fun and make sure they get to eat a few pieces of candy. Also thanks for the B-day phone call. It's always wonderful to hear the little munchkins. See ya in a couple of weeks!!!
Abe rocks the mailman costume! I love it, and I love the truck!
Glad you had a good Halloween!
Adorable! Anna is so cute and that is the first mail carrier costume I've ever seen! So cute and smart!
Too cute!! Love the costumes.
